This is a very refined, smooth and flavorful ice wine that makes an ideal aperitif or digestif. It has appealed to our guests who were not otherwise icewine fans and has proven to be a very popular ice wine to serve.

From a taste perspective, for me it is the apricot that comes through first on the pallet. You may also taste peach and tropical fruits. On the nose, the wine also has hints of ripe pear and lychee (which I also personally enjoy). It is sweet on the nose, which is not surprising, and is all around a well-balanced and very enjoyable icewine.

This is an exceptional red wine ice wine made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The Pillitteri Exclamation Cellar Series wines are produced only from grapes in their best vintage years. We have only found this wine onsite at Pillitteri on Niagara-on-the-Lake. But it is worth the trip if you are in the area.
