Little Yering Shiraz Review
From Down Under Comes a Deep, Rich and Fruitful Shiraz
Hailing from the Yering Station Winery in Australia comes a great little Shiraz sure to find a welcome spot in any home bar.
Little Yering Shiraz is wonderful 100% shiraz wine at 14% ABV. This wine is a deep red in the glass and features definite berry notes on the nose and a nice complexity to the overall profile. I get deep blueberries, but you may also find blackcurrents or other dark fruits.
This is a medium-bodied wine with noticeable tannins on the tongue and the addition of subtle plum on the palate. There is a pleasant earthiness to this wine with a touch of spice on the back end. A very nice choice if you enjoy Shiraz/Syrah.
This review is specific to the 2019 vintage, but I have had many other years of this wine and have enjoyed them all.
Little Yering Shiraz is worth trying for your home bar and is Grand One Lounge recommended.
